Following the Master

Yeshua kept Torah.
So should we.

He observed the Sabbath. He ate clean. He kept the feasts. He said not one letter of the Torah would pass away until everything is accomplished. If we follow Him, we follow where He walked.

Yeshua
salvation · deliverance · the one who saves

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

— Matthew 5:17–18

Yeshua did not come to end Torah.

Halakh — His Walk
הָלַךְ

He lived every command He gave.

02
Lamad — His Teaching
לָמַד

He taught Torah as still binding.

"Whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:19). He affirmed the whole Torah — distinguishing weightier from lighter, but never abolishing either.

03
Tsavah — His Commission
צִוָּה

He told us to do the same.

"If you love Me, keep My commandments" (John 14:15). "Go and make disciples... teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20). Following Yeshua means walking as He walked — and He walked Torah.
